Wasatch Container is thrilled to share that we have been awarded the Pregis Purpose Renew Award for our commitment to reduce carbon emissions. Wasatch Container did this by providing our customers with Pregis PolyPlank Renew foam made with recycled content which reduced 25 metric tons (or 55,000lbs of foam going into the landfill) of carbon emissions in 2022.
Reducing 25 MT of carbon emissions is the environmental equivalent of:
1,082 trash bags of waste recycled instead of landfilled
948 incandescent lamps switched to LEDs
413 tree seedlings grown for 10 years
Wasatch Container achieved this by offering our customers with 1.7lb recycled foam whenever possible. Wasatch Container is only 4 out of the 60 companies to receive this award on the West coast.
