Corrugated Boxes
Did you know that 68% of paper packaging was recycled in 2022, making paper the most recycled material in the US, compared to only 5% of plastic containers?
Corrugated boxes are made from recycled paper fibers and are 100% recyclable. In fact, corrugated boxes can be recycled 7 times without losing the box’s structural integrity and functionality. Using recycled fibers in your boxes helps reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills and conserves natural resources. Additionally, the lightweight nature of corrugated boxes means that they require less energy to transport, further reducing the environmental impact of transportation.
Foam Fabrication
Wasatch Container has made a large effort to design and manufacture recycled eco-friendly foam options. Our foam is made with 60% postindustrial content to provide sustainable packaging solutions utilizing less virgin material and maximizing recycled content to reduce our environmental impact. Our customers receive maximum packaging protection which leads to a reduction in shipments and costs due to less damaged products while protecting our environment with our sustainable foam solutions.
Wood Crates
Wasatch Container ensures that all our wood for crates is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
The FSC certification guarantees that the wood is sourced from responsibly managed forests that prioritize environmental, social, and economic sustainability. The wood utilized is not contributing to deforestation but to forestation. Wasatch Container also manufactures using recycled wood or recycled byproducts with our customer’s permission. By choosing sustainable wood crate options, we help reduce the environmental impacts of our shipping needs while enjoying the durability and functionality of wood crates.
